Catch the light at the library with hands-on activities, stories and STEM challenges. The environmental education group Happy Dancing Turtle returns with a bug-o-rific program all about insects. Kids will discover the important roles that insects play in our eco system, learn about some of the strangest ones we have in the Driftless Region (like fireflies) and make their own insects -- recycles craft style -- with egg cartons, pipe cleaners and other fun crafting materials. 

This program is designed for children ages 6-10 (children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult).
