For anyone struggling with miscarriage and/or infertility, First Free Church is hosting the Beacon Conference on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., at First Free Church, 123 Mason St., Onalaska, WI. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. with light refreshments. Speakers begin at 8 a.m. Lunch will be catered on site. The keynote speaker for Beacon will be author, blogger and pod-caster Caroline Harries of “In Due Time”. There will be many incredible breakout session speakers, including Beth Forbus from Sarah’s Laughter and many local speakers who have close ties to miscarriage and infertility. Some of the breakout sessions will include topics such as infertility options, surrogacy, adoption, foster care, embryo adoption, miscarriage, grief care, how to support someone going through miscarriage/infertility, working through grief and shame, how to hope again, panels with people experiencing different miscarriage/infertility journeys, and more. There will be resource tables with valuable information and help for anyone going through miscarriage and/or infertility.
