The Dance Repertory Company’s (DRC) Auditions
Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) will hold open auditions for it’s spring concert on Jan. 18th at 3pm
Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) will hold open auditions for it’s pre-professional dance company's - The Dance Repertory Company (DRC) - 47th annual spring dance concert, "Change in Color", on Jan. 18th at 3pm. Auditions are free and open to all intermediate and advanced dancers 13 years and older. Auditions are held at MCA’s home, the Valencia Arts Center. This year’s concert will include “With Flying Colors,” a contemporary ballet piece set to Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. Additionally, dancers are invited to audition for Latin hip-hop, Contemporary, and Modern pieces utilizing the work of the talented MCA faculty; Tammy Schmidt, Jessica Dienger and Raina Racki. Performances will be April 17-19 in the Page Theatre inside the Saint Mary’s University Performance Center.
